Chapter And Verse is in beta. It is free, there is no account, and the beta is open.

iPhone, via TestFlight

Needs iOS 26. The on-device model needs an iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence turned on; older phones can use the app with a key from a cloud provider, or see the passages the index finds without an explanation.

  1. Install Apple's TestFlight app if you do not have it.
  2. Open the link below on your phone and tap Accept, then Install.

App Store

Coming once the beta has had a few weeks of real use. The App Store version will be free as well.

Mac and web

The engine is built to be shared, so a Mac app and a web version are planned. iPhone came first.

Privacy, in one paragraph

No account, no analytics, no server of ours. On-device, nothing leaves the phone. With your own key, your question and the candidate passages go to the provider you chose, under your own account, and nowhere else. The full privacy policy is not much longer than that.
